Your privacy is of the utmost importance to Prima Resource.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform the user of this Site of the practices adopted with respect to personal or confidential information concerning him or her or his company.

Any user of the Site is deemed to have read, accepted and acknowledged the validity of the Privacy Policy. If a user of the Site does not agree with the terms of the Privacy Policy, then the user must cease using the Site. However, in such a case, the user is not relieved of his or her reporting obligations under applicable laws and regulations.

 Prima Resource may, at any time and without notice, modify the Privacy Policy. Users of the Site are advised to check regularly for changes to the Privacy Policy. Any user is deemed to have accepted the changes to the Privacy Policy if they continue to use the Site after the changes are posted.

Automatically exchanged data

When a user accesses this site, their device and our hosting infrastructure automatically exchange data. This exchange is necessary to facilitate an optimal browsing experience. The data exchanged is as follows:

  • IP address (a numerical address that can be used to accurately locate a computer connected to the Internet);
  • Browser type (e.g. Firefox, Explorer)
  • Pages visited;
  • Date and time of access to these pages;
  • The address of the referring site, if the user accesses this site from another website.

Most of the information transmitted automatically between computers does not identify the user. It is only collected because of the technological requirements inherent to Internet navigation.

Prima Resource keeps this data for statistical purposes. It is used to count the number of visits and to determine the most visited pages, the technology used by visitors, the addresses of referring sites and the country of origin of visitors.

Use of cookies

Cookies are used to facilitate navigation of the pages of this site. These cookies do not collect personal information about the user.

These cookies are multiple, some expire when the user closes the browser and have no further effect while others may be retained.

The user can set their browser to block cookies at any time. However, doing so may deprive the user of some of the features offered on the site.

Use of Google Analytics

Prima Resource uses Google Analytics, a web analytics tool on this site.

Google Analytics collects information about the user's use of this website by means of cookies, which are stored on servers located in the United States. Google may pass on this information to third parties if it is required to do so by law or if these third parties process the data on its behalf.

The information collected by the tool is, for example, the pages visited, the date, time, duration and frequency of the visits and the links clicked.

The type of operating system and language of the user's computer, the name of the Internet service provider and the geographic location (region) are also collected. The IP address is also collected, but is anonymized (truncated) to ensure the privacy of the user. Anonymizing an IP address prevents the identity of an individual user from being known through the IP address.

Google will only use the information collected to produce statistics and reports on the navigation of this site, which will allow Prima Resource to improve its electronic service. Google will not link the information collected on this site with any other data it holds.

If the user wishes, it is possible to prevent Google from recording information on navigation by installing the Google Analytics deactivation add-on on the device used.
